Description

The throughput of a tin filling station is determined to a great extent by the guaranteed supply of empty tins.

A counter with a light barrier is not the best control of the supply of empty tins because it cannot sense the actual supply coming down the line.

The MKU tin line sensor determines the actual supply in a path of any length (in multiples of 1.5 metres). If the supply of tins in a line falls below the adjustable limit value, the MKU produces either a 4-20 mA output or a relay output.

Measuring is to a great extent independent of tin size, tin velocity, or tin distribution in the controlled area.
