	Laser sensor technology has advanced substantially in the past few years. No longer do laser sensors have to be bulky, high maintenance units which put a huge drain on the profit margin. Class II laser light is used (IEC825, DIN EN 60825) requiring no special protection. Solid state construction coupled with high vibration resistance provide for a very low maintenance solution.
